CMS began posting nursing home ownership data on Care Compare in April 2022. We have recently been contacted by a number of members who observed errors in the information. CMS states that the ownership information displayed publicly is based on the 855 Provider Enrollment form. Should you notice errors in your publicly reported ownership data, CMS encourages nursing homes to reach out to your Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) to make corrections.
