Many of the provisions of the CY2024 Medicare Advantage policy and technical final rule will take effect January 1, 2024. This LeadingAge article summarizes all the changes that will be impactful for LeadingAge members and those they serve. LeadingAge and its coalition partners plan to collect reports from their respective members where they observe cases where MA plans fail to follow the new rules, and plan to share this information with CMS.

In the article “See Something, Say Something on MA Plan Compliance”, LeadingAge National solicits members’ help in sharing the non-compliance issues they observe on or after January 1, 2024. They pulled together this two-pager that describes how and what they hope providers will report to Nicole Fallon with a direct link to her email. LeadingAge along with its coalition partners will be meeting with CMS on January 3, 2024 to better understand how they intend to conduct “robust enforcement” to ensure MA plans comply with the intent of the CY2024 rules.
