CMS has funded Health Quality Innovators (HQI) to deliver five years of no-cost assistance to nursing homes, physician practices and hospitals in Kansas through the CMS Quality Innovation Network – Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) Program. This is the work that previously was performed by KFMC. New participants also are welcome to join HQIN. Benefits include access to free performance data reports, quality coaching, improvement tools, peer-to-peer forums and educational programming. By improving performance on relevant quality measures, you also can improve your star rating, which can increase your appeal to prospective residents and referring hospitals. Visit www.hqin.org to learn more or attend HQIN’s introductory webinar on Wednesday, December 4th at 1 PM EST (12 PM CST) or Thursday, December 5th at 10 AM EST (9 AM CST). The same content will be presented at both webinars. Questions? Contact HQIN directly for a prompt answer.
