Plaintiffs File Reply to Government Arguments in State-Led Challenge to Staffing Rule 

On November 27, the LeadingAge state affiliates and state Attorneys General that have joined in a suit to challenge the CMS nursing home staffing standard filed a reply to the Department of Justice’s November 21 memorandum opposing the plaintiffs’ motion for a nationwide preliminary injunction. With the initial motion, the DOJ response, and plaintiffs’ reply having been filed, the next step will be a December 5 hearing before Judge Leonard Strand.
