LeadingAge National has made revisions to the Residents’ Rights poster template that they released a couple of weeks ago. The only substantive change is the addition of a bullet point under the Respect, Dignity and Self-Determination heading about the right to refuse a transfer to another room in the change is for the purpose of payment or for the convenience of staff. A non-substantive change consists of using the defined term “the Facility” in all instances except the very first sentence of the template that asks members to insert [FACILITY NAME].
