NHSN Monthly Reporting Plan Not Required
LeadingAge National reports that the CDC has developed a work around plan to allow for reporting COVID-19 vaccine data to the NHSN site without completing a Monthly Reporting Plan. CDC reported that because the data input is currently mandatory, they will not require it at this time. In March 2022, the monthly reporting requirement is anticipated to be required. The Association will be tracking developments. A link to the NHSN reporting page and the slide deck from yesterday’s NHSN webinar is here.
