Share With Your Staff: Kansas Extends Reach of COVID-19 Childcare Assistance
Governor Kelly has announced a modification to the Hero Relief Child Care Assistance Program to benefit more Kansan workers. As part of the update, the eligibility period has been extended from 6 to 12 months and the family share reduction for essential workers has been waved. In addition, the Governor shared the news that nearly $50m in federal COVID-19 funding would be distributed in partnership with daycare center Child Care Aware of Kansas to help struggling childcare operations. Additionally, applications for the Child Care Aware program can be submitted from July 1st to July 30th through this website.

LeadingAge Advocates for Delay and More Time for Comments on OSHA ETS Compliance
LeadingAge national sent a letter to OSHA requesting a six-month delay on the compliance dates of the Emergency Temporary Standards (ETS) for healthcare settings, plus an additional 30 days in which to file comments on the ETS.
