Daily Update Moving to Three Times a Week
Since early March, information about the pandemic has come out fast and furious and it was imperative that we keep you updated on all of the changes daily. As that information begins to drop off, the need for a Daily Update does do. To that end, we are going to move our communications to 3 times a week beginning today, Monday, June 22nd. Wednesdays will continue to be the Aging Update. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our communications accordingly.

KANSAS UPDATES

Recording for KDADS’ Guidance for Assisted Living and Other Licensed-Only Adult Care Homes
The new KDADS guidance is intended to provide requirements and recommendations to Kansas Adult Care Homes including Assisted Living, Residential Health Care, Home Plus and other facilities regarding COVID-19 testing and reopening to visitors and services, using a phased approach based on information from KDHE, CMS and the CDC. This guidance is for adult care homes excluding nursing facilities. Here is the recording of the webinar that KDADS conducted last Friday, June 19^th.
