Only Five Spaces Remain for Cycle One of the COVID-19 Safety for CNAs Training
The COVID-19 Safety for CNAs training series kicks-off on February 10th.  There are currently five spaces remaining in the morning session (9:00-10:30 AM).  Contact Stephanie today to get them reserved for your team.

This OSHA grant-funded training will provide CNAs tools and opportunities to gain the knowledge and skills needed to safety work during the pandemic and advocate for safety in the organization.  Hands-on learning, facilitated discussions, and opportunities to practice learning will ensure they are actively engaged in the learning and ready to apply it in your organization.

This material was produced under grant number SH-99033-SH0 from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U.S. Department of Labor. Reach Out to Displaced Workers
Now’s the time to reach out again to displaced workers. Restaurants and hotel staff have been on irregular schedules for nearly a year and may be seeking longer term opportunities in older communities. There are a lot of similarities in the fields. Click here for an email template you can use to reach out to the Kansas Restaurant and Hospitality Association, or to the restaurants and hotels in your community. And don’t forget, the Aging Services Career Center is still free. Post your open jobs today on the LeadingAge National site or post on the LeadingAge Kansas Careers Page.

CAST Releases New Guide on Resident Tech Support and Training
Given the significant and disproportionate impact of COVID-19 and the social isolation it brought on older adults served by LeadingAge members, LeadingAge CAST has released a new Resident/Client Technology Support and Training Guide.
