Sheri Jurad, KDADS Director of NF/ACH Programs reported yesterday that the Kansas Office of Recovery is actively reviewing the agreement form that will be sent to all nursing homes in order to receive the extra $762 per licensed bed in ARPA funds (total of $15 M authorized by the 2022 Kansas Legislature.) Nursing homes must be in good standing with SAM.gov. This review must be verified and documented prior to any payment being made. In the meantime, KDADS is working with contractors to complete the spreadsheet that will make the data needed for the payouts compatible with the new KMMS system (i.e., new provider #’s and assorted coding). It should be within around a month that we can make the payouts happen. If you have questions, contact Sheri sheri.jurad@ks.gov.
