On August 17th, Resources for Integrated Care held a webinar: Promising Practices for Utilizing Motivational Interviewing to Improve Care Coordination and Address Social Determinants of Health (SDOH). The session was supported through the Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office within CMS and aimed to support providers in care integration and coordination for dual eligibles. The session included an overview of motivational interviewing (MI), tips on including MI in screening for gaps in social determinants of health, and a panel discussion around promising practices.
