Last Wednesday, three members came together alongside two other hospitals from their county to meet with their elected officials, Representative Rick Wilborn and Senator Michael Fagg. LaMonte Rothrock (The Cedars), Kevin Reimer (Pleasant View Home), and Kris Erickson (Bethany Village) discussed the various challenges nursing home and long-term care providers are facing including federal and state regulatory barriers and interpretations. This was a great opportunity to lay the foundation and form a connection before heading into the next legislative session.

If you have questions on how to replicate this in your community, reach out to any of these providers or Kylee Childs. As a reminder, due to the election year, you must invite all candidates from your district to not jeopardize your not-for-profit status.
