For SNF’s who received notices around July 20th that they are out of compliance with the SNF Quality Reporting Program requirements for Calendar Year 2022 and wish to request reconsideration of this determination, reconsideration requests must be submitted to CMS via email no later than 10:59 PM CT on August 18th. Noncompliant SNFs who do not request reconsideration will have their Medicare rates cut by 2% for FY2024. Non-compliance notifications were distributed by the Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) and placed into facilities’ My Reports folders in iQIES on July 20, 2023. Kylee has a master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a bachelor's degree in criminology with a minor in Conflict Analysis and Trauma studies from Kansas State University, and a certificate in Grant Proposal Writing from Fort Hays State University. With a professional background in law enforcement and child welfare, and a successful 2023 legislative practicum with the Children's Alliance of Kansas, she brings rich professional experience to her role as Director of Government Affairs, and a front-line perspective on the needs of health and human services providers in our state.
