The CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics has started the fourth wave of the National Study of Long-Term Care Providers (NSLTCP). NSLTCP is an ongoing federally funded study to report information about the characteristics of five major sectors of long-term care services— assisted living and similar residential care, adult day, home health, nursing home, and hospice. The 2018 study will be collecting information from a randomly selected sample of nearly 4,000 provider organizations throughout the United States.  If your organization is contacted about the 2018 study, please participate and encourage others to do the same. Your participation enables NCHS to continue to serve you with reliable, trusted information, to support you in the important work you do serving participants or residents, their families, and your communities.
