During the 2024 legislative session, a policy proviso was passed in the budget requiring all state licensed only long-term care providers such as assisted living, residential healthcare facilities, and home plus residences to submit data on any involuntary discharges that took place every 60 days. Providers can submit the data monthly if they choose. Providers can also go back in and edit their submission if needed based on new circumstances or information that may come along, such as any complaints filed after the provider submits the initial data.
