As you know, we have been on an all-out push to have members advocate directly with our Kansas Congressional Delegation about survey and enforcement madness, preserving the federal commitment to Medicaid funding for services to impoverished frail older people and other concerns. So many of you have gone out of your way to advocate. We can’t quit pushing.

Senator Moran is home from DC and is going to be out on a listening tour next week. Here’s the schedule:

  • Wednesday, August 16th, 3:00 PM – Colby Conmmunity College in Colby
  • Friday, August 18th, 12:00 PM at American Legion Post #1 in Topeka

We know it’s short notice, but it is so important to have members show up at these events to ask questions and voice concerns. Please feel free to contact Rachel if you would like moral support and/or information to share with Senator Moran in Colby or Topeka.  Make sure to let us know if you go to one of the stops on the tour.
