The reality of managed care is heating up in Kansas with increasing penetration of Medicare Advantage plans, bundled payment arrangements, and other new reimbursement arrangements. The LeadingAge Kansas Managed Care Toolkit, developed in cooperation with CLA (CliftonLarsenAllen), is now available for purchase. Based on input from members and approval by the LeadingAge Kansas Board, the association has taken the upfront financial risk so that our members can have access to this terrific, timely resource.

The LeadingAge Kansas Managed Care Toolkit is designed to lead you and your team through a methodical process to develop and implement a well-constructed game plan for engaging with current and emerging managed care companies and players in your market. It contains these six modules, with accompanying exhibits and worksheets:

  1. Primer and Overview: Components of Targeted Environment Scan for Organizations (includes Kansas-specific scan results)
  2. Key Performance Metrics and Sample Scorecards
