The LeadingAge Policy Team is hosting a virtual meeting with our members who are recruiting nurses or other staff from foreign countries, or members who are in the process of doing so. The virtual meeting will take place on April 26 from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM Central. Our goal is to build on the success with international workforce recruitment opportunities among our members. To assist with these efforts, we are convening an initial meeting to discuss organization experiences, talk about federal legislative strategies, or an administrative action that could be beneficial at this time. Please share this information with members who are already bringing workers to the US from abroad or in the process of doing so, and ask them to contact Andrea, (Aprice-Carter@LeadingAge.org) for the virtual call details. Also, have them contact Andrea if they have an interest in international recruitment policy issues, and want to be advised of future calls.
