The KING Board of Directors anticipate an opening on the Board later this year.  If you or a member of your team is interested in serving on the KING Board please contact Kevin McFarland.

The Board meets 5 times per year (February meeting via teleconference). July and December meetings are held in Topeka. The spring Board meeting is held in conjunction with the LeadingAge Kansas Spring Conference. Travel expenses (excluding the spring meeting) are reimbursed.

In its 29th year of operation, KING is a group-funded workers’ compensation pool for members of LeadingAge Kansas. KING is one of the most valuable member benefits of LeadingAge Kansas.  Board members must be a representative of a current KING member. Administrators/CEOs, CFOs, Nurses, HR professionals and Environmental Services personnel have served on KING Boards.

Tina Andres
Tina Andres is the Director of Administrative Operations. Since joining LeadingAge Kansas in 2001, Tina has held many different roles during her time at the association. Her current focus is overseeing accounting, human resources, and office management. Having attended Kansas State University and Pratt Business College with an emphasis in accounting, Tina utilizes her education and work experience to provide accounting functions for LeadingAge Kansas, LeadingAge Kansas Employee Benefits, Inc. (EBI), LeadingAge Kansas Foundation and KING. Tina is passionate about being a team player and is willing to help others in all capacities.
