There is still time to apply to receive an air disinfection unit at NO COST to you through this special CMP grant fund. Over 60 long-term care organizations in the state have already applied and been approved. The final date to be included in the grant submission is Friday, April 21st at 1:00 PM CST. We want to make sure you take advantage of the opportunity and work with a partner to make it an easy process for you. This partnership means you can apply to receive the Violett portable UVC air disinfection technology, a product that meets the CMP fund criteria. If you are interested in applying to receive the Violett Air Disinfection unit at no cost to you, please send the information requested below to nicole@leadingagekansas.org:

To receive a unit, we must hear from you by the end of the business day on Friday, April 21.
The Violett unit was developed to combat Covid-19 and elder care facilities in Washington state played a crucial role in its design and testing. The unit has been tested and proven to kill 99.9999% of Covid-19 surrogate virus MS2 in just 30 minutes.
Once you have sent the information above to nicole@leadingagekansas.org, LeadingAge Kansas and our partner Violett will take care of the application process. Violett has experience in working with CMAP funds to help nursing homes get units. They recently partnered with LeadingAge Washington, to get units for over 70 organizations through the CMP fund. The feedback from facilities that have used Violett has been overwhelmingly positive. For example, one facility shared that within six hours of using Violett’s odor-eliminating nanotechnology, a long-term smell due to chronic incontinence issues was completely eradicated. Another facility used their Violett in a high-traffic area during a small outbreak, and five days later, no other patients or staff had fallen ill. Lastly, a CCRC effectively employed Violett to eliminate all traces of odor and purify the air following an apartment fire.
