  • LeadingAge Members Lobby for Workforce Issues: Workforce was one of 3 priorities that 250 members talked about on 220 visits to U.S. House and Senate offices during the March 2019 Leadership Summit Lobby Day.
  • Monthly Workforce Highlight: Promising Practice: In 2006, the New Jewish Home partnered with Columbia University Teacher’s College to develop a Geriatrics Career Development Program (GCD) on elder care fundamentals, which lets students receive 1 of 5 healthcare certifications after graduation from high school.
