Besides having a workforce keynote, this conference will have 4 outstanding workforce focused breakout sessions to participate in April 24th – 25th in Wichita, Kansas sponsored by the LeadingAge Kansas Foundation.
- Moving the Need on Culture with Clean Culture Priorities, April 24th 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: As a follow-on session to his Keynote, Jamie Notter will dive deeper with a hands-on session designed to give you some experience moving away from lofty (and ineffective) core values statements, and actually develop some concrete cultural priorities that you can use to actually change culture.
- Sexual Harrassment in Long-Term Care, April 24th 2:45 PM – 4:00 PM: In this session, Kate Resnevic will focus on issues related to sexual harassment that are pertinent to long-term care providers, both as employers and as caretakers.
- Understanding Our Staff: Results of a Survey Conducted on Staff Satisfaction in Long-Term Care, April 25th 10:45 AM – 11:45 AM: In this session Adrienne Struble will discuss the findings of the satisfaction survey. A breakdown of employee responses will be provided to help you understand the survey. From this session you will learn better ways to support your employees and improve retention.
- Workforce Member Panel, April 25th 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Join Dana Weaver and a panel of members who have implemented successful workforce practices. This is a great opportunity to learn about what others are doing to attract and retain their workforce. Topics will specifically address recruitment and retention.
