In April 2018, the LeadingAge Kansas Board positions will be open:
- Chair Elect (must be an current member of the Board)
- Eligible for re-election to a second term – Lonnie Baker and Rhonda Parks
- One additional vacancy
Board members serve 3-year terms, and can be elected to two consecutive terms. The Board meets five times a year, two meetings of which are in conjunction with the association’s spring and fall conferences. Other meetings are typically in November/December, January//February and July/August. This year’s summer retreat is on July 24th in Lawrence.
The 2018 Nominating Committee is Kevin Reimer, Chair; Judy Kregar and Pam Bachman. The Committee will develop a slate of nominees to be presented at the membership business meeting. The Nominating Committee encourages interested individuals to review the requirements and submit an application. If you have previously submitted a nomination, we ask that you resubmit your nomination so the Nominating Committee is assured of having the most complete and current information possible.
