LeadingAge national has formed a Nursing Home Advisory Group to help members address the current needs and challenges of operating nursing homes. Members are encouraged to sign up to participate in this group. The group will be comprised of nursing home administrators, executive leaders and individuals operating skilled nursing facilities and/or nursing homes. It will meet via conference call monthly and ad hoc as needed. Some of its initial work will focus on proposed CMS rules and quality measures, innovative models of practice and coordinated efforts to distribute educational materials to members, among other areas of interest.
