The LeadingAge Kansas Foundation is excited to announce that we are currently accepting applications for the 2026 award season of our scholarship program.
This scholarship opportunity is exclusively for employees of LeadingAge Kansas member organizations, like yours. In a time where budgets are tight and well-educated, highly trained team members are even more critical; our scholarship program can help. There’s no better way to communicate how much we value those working in aging services than to support them in creating their tomorrow by helping them reach their educational goals.
Scholarship Background: Since 2012, we have awarded over $120,000 in scholarships to more than 100 member employees. Some amazing leaders currently in the field were supported in reaching their goals by this scholarship program.
Who Can Apply: The scholarship is available to full or part-time employees that have been employed by your organization for at least one consecutive year, as of the application deadline. Individuals can apply for and be awarded scholarships in multiple years.
Scholarship Uses: Scholarships funds can be used for any educational pursuit that increases the employee’s capacity to serve elders and support the organization.
Deadlines: Applications accepted from April 1 – June 1, 2026. Please note that the application window is different than previous years.
