The LeadingAge Kansas Foundation scholarship is a great way to value and encourage aging services professionals who want to elevate their career and skillset. Any employee of LeadingAge Kansas member organizations is eligible to apply if they meet the following criteria: 

  • Employed at a LeadingAge Kansas member building for at least one continuous year 
  • Willing to maintain continuous employment with a LeadingAge Kansas member building 
  • Has demonstrated commitment to serving older Kansans 

In the past, the Foundation has awarded scholarships to a wide variety of programs, including nursing school, Wound Care certificate courses, AIT and CDM programs, and more.  

Whether you would like to complete an application yourself or you will be encouraging and supporting someone else in your building to do so, we invite you to invest some of your time into this opportunity.

Addy Mead
Addy Mead is our Administrative Coordinator. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Wichita State University’s Math Education program, Addy is using her planning and organizational skills, creativity, and love of helping others to support our providers and members. As Administrative Coordinator, Addy’s primary duties include overseeing general member communications through social media, our Weekly Member Calls, the Aging Update, and database and website maintenance. She also collaborates with Stephanie and Nicole to plan, produce, and market professional development events, manage Continuing Education processing, as well as assisting with office administration activities.
