The federal government—under the direction of the Trump Administration—is seeking input on suggestions to reduce regulatory burden across multiple sectors, including aging services. This is a critical opportunity for our members to speak up about how proposed deregulation could impact providers, staff, and the older adults we serve.

LeadingAge Kansas is compiling feedback from our members to submit by May 12, 2025. All comments will be:

✅ Submitted to the Federal Register
✅ Shared with Kansas’ federal delegation to inform their understanding of how proposed changes affect real providers in their districts.

To make the strongest case possible, we need your insights and experiences—especially on rules and regulations that:

  • Create unnecessary administrative burden
  • Don’t improve quality or outcomes for residents
  • Create barriers to innovation or staffing
  • Could be modernized or eliminated without harming resident safety

Submit your feedback through our short Microsoft Form by 11:59 PM on Wednesday, May 7 so we can include your voice in this important advocacy effort. Complete the form
