Opening our 2025 Spring Conference with his keynote, “What’s Your MVP?” is Coach Donnie Campbell. Coach Donnie Campbell is a math teacher and high school basketball coach from Kansas who served largely as the inspiration for the titular character of the 5-time Emmy Award winning show Ted Lasso. It was back in the late 1990s when actor Jason Sudeikis played basketball at Shawnee Mission West High School under the direction of Coach Campbell. During that time, Campbell’s leadership skills, positive attitude, and approach to mentoring left an indelible impression on Jason, leading to the creation of the Ted Lasso character.

Today, Donnie Campbell still teaches and stays extra busy by speaking to organizations and companies about leadership and how important it is to instill strong values in the people you work with. We are so excited for Coach Campbell to share his nearly 40 decades of experience, knowledge, and positivity with our members at Spring Conference. Take a moment to watch a short video from Coach Campbell talking about his session.

Thank you to Guardian Pharmacy for sponsoring Donnie’s keynote!
