As fires continue to ravage Southern California, more than 750 residents have evacuated LeadingAge member communities, while at least 13 member staff have lost their homes. LeadingAge California has issued a Mutual Aid Alert to organize placements for residents of the evacuated member communities, secure food and supplies, and coordinate with state administration partners to better understand where support might be needed. “It’s a harrowing time,” said the CEO of LeadingAge member Front Porch.
