Kansas Aging Services Providers,

On behalf of LeadingAge Kansas, I want to thank you for your participation in the 2024 Long-Term Care Staffing Survey. Your input is vital to helping policymakers understand the significant staffing challenges facing long-term care providers across the state, particularly in critical direct care roles.

As part of this effort, we ask you for two critical things:

  1. Complete the staffing survey (https://forms.office.com/r/y76fMJHPeY): Please provide information at a company-wide level to give us a broad understanding of your organization’s staffing challenges.
  1. Submit a detailed staffing workbook (Attached): For each service line or facility your organization operates, please complete the more in-depth workbook to capture specific staffing data. Send the completed workbook to Kylee Childs

The information you provide will play a crucial role in our advocacy efforts to ensure that long-term care providers receive the resources necessary to care for Kansas’ rapidly aging population. By highlighting the current headwinds we face, we can better advocate for policies, resources, and support that providers need to meet the highest standards of care.

Please submit your responses by November 18th, 2024. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Kylee Childs at kylee@leadingagekansas.org

Thank you again for your time and participation!
