On July 1, several changes to Kansas workers’ compensation laws went into effect. One change is with the timeframe a worker has to report a claim. Employees now have 30 days to notify their employer of an injury (20 days if the employee no longer works for the employer). The Kansas Department of Labor has updated their posters and employee information to reflect this change. The updated documents can be found on the KING website Resources tab

Her current focus is overseeing accounting, human resources, and office management. Having attended Kansas State University and Pratt Business College with an emphasis in accounting, Tina utilizes her education and work experience to provide accounting functions for LeadingAge Kansas, LeadingAge Kansas Employee Benefits, Inc. (EBI), LeadingAge Kansas Foundation and KING. Tina is passionate about being a team player and is willing to help others in all capacities.
