Please take action and urge your U.S. representatives to cosponsor the Nursing Home Workforce Support and Expansion Act (H.R. 7929). Introduced by Representatives Steven Horsford (D-NV) and Danny Davis (D-IL), this bill would provide up to $400 million per year in grant funding to states to support direct care workers across the long-term care continuum. We must take every opportunity to address the persistent workforce shortages in long-term care, particularly with the federal minimum staffing rule for nursing homes on the horizon.
