Your organization’s most current Five Star Report were emailed last week.
The latest data now includes staffing numbers and MDS QM data for 2023 Q4. The April 2024 specs for the 5 Star Rating system does not change anything about how the ratings are calculated, but it does freeze the adjusted staff hours and a few QMs as CMS works to figure out how they will case mix adjust hours using PDPM and to update the QM specs with changes to the MDS fields.
