There has been a lot of media coverage of low numbers of nursing home residents accepting the most recent COVID booster – also known as being up to date. LeadingAge New York provided the following table, showing that LeadingAge member nursing homes are far outpacing the national average of 33.13% of residents vaccinated (December 10th, most recent data available). For LeadingAge nursing homes, 45.94% of residents are up to date.

Here is a state-by-state listing of the percentage of nursing home residents and staff who have had the most recent COVID booster (i.e., are up to date). This table shows rates for LeadingAge members and non-members. It is based on the most recently available NHSN data.
