Stakeholders met with KDADS last week to discuss updates related to survey trends, the proposed minimum staffing rule, and the HCBS Final Settings Rule. KDADS is still working on solidifying their survey process for HCBS facilities related to the Final Settings Rule and there will be an HCBS Stakeholder meeting on Monday, November 6th to discuss that process more. There was no stance the state department took on the minimum staffing rule other than highlighting the concern around LPNs being omitted from the rule. See survey trends below.
