There is a lot happening in education in the next few weeks, and we don’t want you to miss a thing.  Some key deadlines are coming fast. Use the links to learn more and get your space reserved.

  • Fall Conference Hotel Room Block – Reservations must be made by Wednesday, September 6th to get the discounted rate. The block will save you over $100 a night compared to standard room rates.  While you are booking your room, go ahead and register for the conference. 
  • Center for Leadership – Applications for the year-long leadership development program are due Friday, September 8th.
  • MDS Updates and Beyond Training – Make sure you are ready for the October 1st MDS changes with this training.  Join us on Tuesday, September 12th in Salina or via live stream.

Stephanie Gfeller
Stephanie Gfeller, MS, LACHA is the Director of Education and Leadership. Stephanie joined the association in 2019 and oversees the development of our education programs, writes and manages all of our federal grant programs, and leads our Center for Leadership program. With her master’s degree in Gerontology from Kansas State University, adult care home administrator license, experience as a researcher and instructor at the K State Center on Aging, and endless creativity, Stephanie is ideally suited to her leadership role in our field. Outside of work Stephanie enjoys reading, supporting her kids at all their activities, serving as a 4-H club leader, and being outside helping on her family farm.
