Medical insurance and Medicaid and stethoscope. Medicine doctor working with computer interface as medical

On Friday, August 18th, LeadingAge met with officials from the Domestic Policy Council, leaders from Medicaid, and leaders from the Administration for Community Living on our paper on the HCBS settings rule. LeadingAge discussed concerns with the impact on aging services providers and those they serve, particularly those with dementia. CMS is open to continuing to talk and did have some feedback regarding elements our members are reporting they are seeing in enforcement and how those matches up with CMS’s guidance. We’ll report out as these conversations continue.
