Influenza vaccine, syringe, and vials.

The National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) system sent notice to users on May 4th that they were aware of recent issues with line listing reports in the Healthcare Personnel Safety (HPS) Component of NHSN through which nursing homes are, for the first time, required to submit data on staff flu vaccinations. NHSN reports that the issue was resolved on May 3rd and line listing reports are now functioning properly. Remember that per SNF QRP requirements, nursing homes must submit at least one report through the HPS component by May 15th that captures the vaccination status of all staff who worked at least one day in the nursing home during flu season October 1, 2022 – March 31, 2023. No corrections to data will be accepted after May 15th
