As part of LeadingAge’s participation in the All Hands on Deck campaign to increase nursing home resident bivalent booster uptake, we submit weekly reports to HHS demonstrating members’ progress. The news is positive: as data submitted January 20 shows, 64% of residents at LeadingAge-member nursing homes have had bivalent boosters, well above the average for all U.S. nursing home residents (49.32%) and far higher than both the general population (15%) and Americans 65 years of age or older (40%). How’d they do it? We talked to members boasting bivalent booster nursing home resident percentages well above 80% to learn what strategies worked.
