· person-centered and trauma informed care approaches and more.
Trainees from all disciplines will leave with strategies and tools they can begin using with residents immediately.
Training Champion Program: How it works
You will NOT have to facilitate the training or prepare any materials; our team has that covered!
- You’ll set a goal for the number of employees you want to train under the grant in 2023. This process includes one on one support to set (and achieve) your goal.
- Complete the early access registration form to reserve spaces in training sessions.
- For your team’s convenience, the training will be offered on multiple dates and at varying times. Training format options will include in-person, live, virtual training via Zoom and some on-demand video training.
- Watch for email reminders/instructions leading up to each training session and share it with those registered.
- Meet your goal!
Training Champions Program: What will you get
- Advanced access to session registration. The sessions filled quickly last year, so this is a perk!
- High quality, proven training at NO cost to you. The fees have already been paid by the grant.
- Trained staff (potentially lots of them).
- Through this Champion program, two organizations trained over 80 of their staff members in 2022.
- With multiple training dates and formats, training some staff members each time leads to big numbers over the year.
- Champions meeting their goal will receive
- A personalized organizational certificate in addition to individual trainees’ certificates.
- Those licensed in Kansas may also earn no cost CE credits.
- A press release & social media shout-out(s) highlighting your commitment to workers
Training Champion spaces are limited and the deadline to sign-up is January 20, 2023. To request more information or sign-up, please contact Stephanie Gfeller at stephanie@leadingagekansas.org or 785-233-7443.
