Meadowlark and Ascension Via Christi Hospital hosted an outdoor movie in the park event during the evening hours of Saturday, June 25, for Manhattan-area healthcare professionals. Attendees enjoyed complimentary popcorn, soda, and water while watching Clifford: The Big Red Dog. There was no charge to attend the event. Additional sponsor support was provided by Accord Hospice and Palliative Care.
Organizations continue to navigate challenges that resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic. “We’ve seen the exhaustion and the burn out amongst workers in the healthcare industry,” said Sarah Duggan, Community Relations Director at Meadowlark. “It is important to create and support opportunities to show appreciation to these valuable professionals.”
