Kansas has an unbalanced budget, and next week Governor Brownback will decide what state programs will be cut to fill the gap.

Nursing home rates are on the table.

Last week we asked everyone to contact the Governor to encourage him to sign S Sub for HB 2365 in order to provide desperately needed funding for nursing homes.

Now we need everyone to send a message to the Governor asking him not to balance the budget on the back of those same nursing home rates, and endangering the care for Kansas seniors.

Please follow the link to quickly and easily, send a message to Governor Brownback.

And please share it with every member of your organization, your board of directors, your residents and family members.

We are the voice for the tens of thousands of elders whose care is on the line. For their sakes, let’s make sure we are heard!
