KDADS Budget Update
At our weekly meeting yesterday, KDADS informed us that they submitted the special plan amendment (SPA) to CMS yesterday that would allow them to distribute the $15/day Medicaid dollars. CMS has 90 days to approve the SPA, but KDADS hopes they will approve it much sooner. They still hope to distribute the money to providers in one lump sum before the end of this fiscal year.
BACHA Notice About 2020 Licensure Renewals
As stated in last week’s newsletter, individuals holding an adult care home license will be expected to renew by June 30, 2021. See notice posted on BACHA’s website.
