LeadingAge and other associations continue to partner with American Senior Housing Association to distribute the State of Senior Housing survey to eligible respondents. LeadingAge staff, state partners and members find the resulting report to be very useful for advocacy, marketing, and ongoing operations. Every participating organization will receive a copy of the report. Here is the link to the 2021 State of Seniors Housing Survey. Make sure to read the second tab (definitions) first to see if your organization should participate in the survey. Providers that should complete the survey include:
- Communities where the majority of units provide Independent Living (not including HUD housing)
- Communities where the majority of units provide Assisted Living services
- Communities where the majority of units provide Memory Care in Assisted living (does not include nursing homes)
- Life Plan Communities/Continuing care retirement communities
