Correction to Vaccine Sign Up Site for AL, RHC, HP
There has been some trouble with the vaccine sign-up link for assisted living and other providers who do not have access to NHSN, you may opt in to the Pharmacy Partnership for LTC Program by completing this RedCap form. LeadingAge national has updated their article to ensure working links.

It’s CDC Week on LeadingAge Coronavirus Update Calls
Dr. Nimalie Stone was on the LeadingAge Update Call on Monday, with information about COVID-19 vaccines, flu shots, and other important updates. The call is archived on, as are all of the Update calls. Today at 2:30 CST, NIOSH/CDC engineer Ken Mead will talk about air filtration and ventilation, and other environmental changes all types of providers can make at no, low, or high cost. ECHO National Nursing Home COVID-19 Action Network Pre-Launch Webinars on Oct. 23 and Oct 29 – Open for Any Nursing Home Provider
The ECHO National Nursing Home COVID-19 Action Network offering 2 great webinars (free).These interactive webinars will feature national experts exploring key topics in COVID-19 care in nursing homes and offer significant time for discussion. This is a “pre-launch” activity for the kickoff of the 16-week Nursing Home COVID-19 Action Network. While nursing homes are strongly encouraged to look into participation in the Network, these webinars are open to all providers who are interested participating in them.

Strategies to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 2 PM CST. This webinar will address key important and realistic approaches, consistent with current guidance, that health care workers can implement to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 for Long-term Care Professionals. It will also cover the multiple action steps necessary for organizations to consider with PPE from planning, inventory, policies and procedures, types of PPE, use consistent with current guidance, education, optimization, process surveillance, and follow up.

COVID-19: Realistic and Quality Approach to Cohorting, Cleaning and Disinfection on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 11:30 AM. The first segment of this presentation will discuss the guidance, planning, education, and prompt action approach to the very important mitigation step of cohorting during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The second section will provide key strategies in both cleaning and disinfection to include the process, products, PPE necessary and education of employees during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
