Feds Preparing for Vaccine Deployment in LTC – Your Response Needed No Later Than October 30th
As of today, the CDC has asked long term care facilities nationwide to enroll in the federal COVID-19 Pharmacy Partnership for Long-term Care Program or opt out and indicate an alternate plan for vaccinating residents.  Nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities will be able to sign up via NHSN. Other facilities like assisted living, residential health care and homes plus are asked to use a separate online sign up form. Sign up will remain open until October 30th. Click here for more info. Comments on CMS Testing Rule Due November 2nd
Just a reminder: We’re about 2 weeks out from the deadline for submitting comments on the nursing home testing rule (CMS-3401-IFC). We encourage any member to submit comments. Check out LeadingAge’s analysis of the rule and guidance and this resource for submitting comments.
