We need stories, quotes and images from members to help us launch our PR Campaign designed to keep a focus on the needs of our field. Here is the information we need from you to make this happen:
- Stories from families who couldn’t be with their loved ones during this time, but appreciated the care provided by staff
- Stories of parents who work in the facilities, but also have to care for their own loved ones (maybe they have someone at home that also needs care, they’re teaching, raising a family, taking care of a parent).
- Stories from individuals who are simply exhausted, or wearing inadequate PPE.
- Stories from individuals who are scared and know its just a matter of time before they also get sick or make their own family sick.
- Thank you notes from residents or family members.
- General stories of why they do what they do, even in the face of risking their own health, long hours, not enough equipment, etc.
Please keep in mind we want to present you as the true heroes you are. We know this pandemic has been extremely hard on you and so we want to honor you by looking for the positive, heroic stories!
