As much as we were looking forward to our day at the Capitol, we have cancelled our Legislative Day due to the Legislature closing for the Chiefs celebration.

The Kansas Legislature announced Monday that they will be closed on Wednesday, February 5th so they can attend the Chiefs Parade and Celebration in Kansas City. Thus, the Statehouse will be empty, the Children and Seniors Committee hearing on long-term care workforce will not happen, and any appointments scheduled with legislators are cancelled.

We do not have plans currently to reschedule.
