Last week’s Workforce and Leadership Conference was heavily focused on culture. We broke the complicated workforce crisis down into a single issue to work on: our workforce is people caring for people.
Want to know how to retain an employee? See them as a person. Give them employee-centered care. What are their wants, needs, ways they like to be communicated with, skills and superpowers? Just like you are a person, so are they. Our retention efforts have to focus on the individual. We cannot group them generalizations and expect miracles.
