It’s here – Careers in Aging Week is being celebrated across the country and it launched in Kansas! Social media is a buzz about working in aging services. LeadingAge Kansas partnered with LeadingAge National, the Gerontological Society of America, Argentum and the American Healthcare Association to promote our field. The partnership is featuring stories of individuals form across the country working in the field. Kansas’ own, Robert Scott with Schowalter Villa was featured in their podcast lineup. Rob is in the current Center for Leadership Class and received a Foundation Scholarship to further his culinary education.

LeadingAge Kansas partnered with the Gerontology Ambassadors at Kansas State University to develop a video of students and why they are interested in working in the aging field. The video features 3 students and includes what they are looking for in a future employer.
